I don’t understand people who don’t like children.

Whenever people say children are jerks… I’m surrounded by children, and I just don’t see it.

I’m a teacher’s assistant in a fifth grade classroom, and I always have the most amazing time. I love the children, they’re all incredibly sweet and bright. But, I always have to leave a little early because that’s when my Dad shows up.

Tonight, hours later, when I got home from my class, I found an email from the teacher in my inbox which basically said, “Hi there! The girls wanted me to send you this email because they didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. They didn’t want you to think they forgot about you.” 

I’m still glowing.
